It was because the OO 1st season mecha are the best on the mixing ideas and modification. Not to mention the next Gunpla Love might include the next Gundam OO + AGE work due to the similar design.
BTW, Damn the Armored Gundam X somehow make me want to get the kit.

it looks cools and all but it also looks like it can't put or take off it's Divider shield from its back
