    1. Looks way to much like the sinanju to make it convincing that this was a feddie/AE suit BEFORE zeon got it

The head chest and back pack are just too Zeonic

      Delete
    2. You do know that AE made zeonic suits in the past, right? Like the Marasai(which was technically given to the Feds), Jagd Doga, and, oh idk, the Sazabi?

      Delete
    3. Hey idiots, you do realize the Sinanju was directly based on the Sazabi's design and that both machines were likely designed and built by former Zeon engineers, right?
Anaheim was crawling with Zeon men everywhere. The Sinanju itself was given over to the Sleeves and was intended to be a Zeon suit from the start after they finished collecting data for the Unicorn.

    4. The head make it looks like bald people bring shield and gun.
      LoL. LoL.

This one is not for me, that's for sure. I'll look for another MG.

      .

Oh, btw, for commenters above me, no need to bash other's opinion just to show that you're 'knowledgeable' in gundam. hmmph. :)

    5. The sinanju Stein was developed from the Nu Gundam not the Sazabi and it was stolen by the sleeves and developed into the Sinanju. And what cron said is right no need to bash other's opinion.

  2. looks a bit too plain......
    hmmm
plenty of room for scribing panel lines imo

  3. Guys, this is a Gift from katoki studio to all the Gunpla Custom/Builders

In the original MG Sinanju, it's very hard to just putting together, not mention Modified/paint jobs, but with this one, you can not just modify all you want it to be, with Gunpla HD parts, you can make a Stein Gundam ( Just saying XD ) or Zeon's MS, adding Freedom's wings, or whatever you dream of :)

  4. .....what you said hardly made sense.

  5. Wait, there's a bazooka in the 3rd pic, the article also mentions it. Does this means we'll get Sinanju bazooka for free finally? If so, this is a must buy for me.

  6. wooot GunplaBuilders MG! :D i already am thinking of custom works! >D

  7. is this the one with gundam eyes or a mono eye?

    1. Hopely a gundam, but with 7000+ Yen, they must at least including a mono eyes or a GM custom face versions parts to be fair

      Delete
    2. The sinanju stein has gundam eyes

      Delete
  8. The Bazooka pictures has a prototype handle on it.

The rest is colored plastic but that handle.

I hope so at least, it's a steep price for an MG but looks to include as much if not more plastic than the normal Sinanju.

  9. Relax folks Bandai is not going to scale down the awsomenes of MGs going forward. Look at the attention to detail, design, and engineering on Nu Ver Ka. That level of perfection is here to stay. This thing is gonna be another ground breaker.

    1. What you see here is only prototyped external armor designs put onto the Sinanju inner frame. Final version will be total redesign.

      Delete
    2. Are you retarded? A total overhaul of the inner frame will not happen, it's actually accurate to share the inner frame between the two kits; the Sinanju is just a slightly modified Sinanju Stein.

      Delete
    3. No. Am I voicing an opinion and is there a reasonable amount of uncertainty in my speculation? Yes. Are YOU being insanely rude? Yes.

      Delete
    4. I believe that the prototype pictures we're seeing already feature at least a partially redesigned inner frame. In this image, you can see into the shoulder armor and see the shoulder's inner frame:

      http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o2gCljucs84/UK92L9ZQzXI/AAAAAAAAzkM/iFi1czWHKzw/s1600/p1+%25285%2529.jpg

Notice that the edges of the inner frame are straight, and lacking the flares that the Sinanju's frame in the same area has:

      http://dalong.net/review/mg/m116/p/m116_82.jpg

Obviously, the frame piece for the armor between the arm and the shoulder is going to be different as well.

I think it's likely that some of the frame pieces will be exactly the same as the sinanju, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see a more angular frame on the sinanju stein and more differences than you would immediately expect comparing the two visually.

      Delete
    5. You can also see in this picture that the frame for the moving armor piece that holds the beam saber is different on the stein:

      http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-P9F-9CuRBhc/UM6zbrUB_lI/AAAAAAAEGrQ/kSQMRkf-1vo/s1600/1d.jpg

      Compare with:

  10. Hey hey hey now!
Are they using the MG Nu ver Ka's manipulators along with the same weapon handle system?

    Sweet!

    ReplyDelete
  11. beam rifle kinda looks like the one used by hws nu gundam?

  12. So is this Sinanju Stein actually a retcon? In Ep.2, when Sinanju was attacking Nahel Argama, the MOST annoying Alberto explained that Neo Zeon hijacked the Sinanju in UC 0094 and give AE’s Sinanju data bank card to one of Nahel Argama’s crew to transfer Sinanju’s data to the ReZel . On the screen you can clearly see that the data bank show Sinanju’s design, its shield and linear seat cockpit. If this is the true then AE would only the data on Sinanju Stein but not Sinanju. AE would not have all the details on what Neo Zeon had done to modify Sinanju Stein. Of course you can argue that AE had had Sinanju’s final Zeonic design all along, but then why go through the trouble of building the Stein with Nu Gundam-esque design and then let The Sleeves modified it? Did AE also supply the parts to The Sleeves to complete the final Sinaju design. This just doesn’t seem logical.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Relax, dont bother thinking about retcons and shit.
Its a game DLC design and they just stuck a paragraph of background story to it for fans to latch onto.
Like many MSV designs its a take it or leave it type of thing. You can choose to believe its related to a mainstream design or you can just accept its an MSV that applies to a "what if" scenario.

      Delete
    2. The Sinanju's design being the Sleeves version makes still sense if what is being shown is the updated version. Alberto uploaded the stats and specs of the original machine which are identical but the screen showed what the Nahel Argama was picking up.
Even if it's a retcon, it's not really the story's problem so much as the animators. We knew the Sinanju had been modified for Full Frontal as there's no way the Sleeves emblems all over it were in the prototype. But not having the Stein already designed the animators simply used the existing Sinanju.

      Delete
    3. I agree. This kit is still basically Sinanju without the style. Don't be bothered if it's a retcon or canon, if you like the design and the gimmicks, go for it. People should buy a kit based on its own merits not because it's UC or AU or canon or MSV.

  13. This damn thing uses the manipulators as seen in Nu Ver Ka. BANDAI TAKE MY MONEY

    ReplyDelete

    1. That's what I get from the picture too, hopefully it'll indeed come with the [PG]-like manipulators.

  14. I hope they give us a compatible commander's fin for this. XD
The head looks too much like a grunt zeon MS.

  15. i like the design, if giant robots built for war were plausible, this is the best no bullshit design scheme.

    ReplyDelete
  16. that promo says ver. ka in it. I know it was remodeled after the sinanju ver ka. , but will the stein come with the ver ka. package as well? Does that means nu gundam ver ka. and sinanju stein ver ka. one month in between?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Pretty sure it'll come in "Ver. Ka." package. Yeah, only 1 month between, it's not a big deal actually, knowing this kit is 80% (or more) identical to Sinanju.

  17. Been thinking if I get this I'm gonna replace the head with either the MG Nu Gundam head or the Unicorn Gundam UM head

    ReplyDelete
  18. The only issue that this user desire the most is : if Stein & Sinanju share same inner frame parts, PLEASE, MAKE A NEW MOULD FOR THE WAIST CONNECTION !!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anyone notice Sinanju Stein's hands is same as Nu ver.ka?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Oh yeah PG hands for all upcoming UC MG kits!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Damn BanDai milking us, I just spent all my money on Nu Ver. Ka now this? I cry at nights thinking BanDai will continously produce more awesome kits. This thing is sweet that it makes cotton candy taste like shit.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yep, after reading a lil' bit regarding the hands, it will INDEED comes with [PG]-like manipulator, just like [MG] Nu "Ver. Ka." Awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  23. hmm. so no gimmicks being touted yet?

  24. Soooo much sexier than the red version. Suck it Zekes.

  28. Dat sexy box art!

This is what I imagine an assault mobile suit would look like.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Somehow the fact that it is not a mono-eye just appeals to me a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  30. it seems katoki is holding back on the decals here.. still on the fence as to whether to get this or not

    ReplyDelete
  31. apparently, Hajime Katoki will add full psychoframes to all Ver. Ka kits from now on

  32. Absolutely awesome!! Can't wait to see more of it. I wonder if the frame is going to be the same as the sinanju ver. ka? I would image that would help with the backpack and weapon weight.

    ReplyDelete
  33. stein was made from Sazabi and Nu, so it is a hybrid, so it has features of a gundam and turn features a Neo Zeon mobile suit

    ReplyDelete
  34. well, it looks like katoki's name has been flying around during this season for some time :)

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yeah well, his version of the Nu Gundam received great reviews and sold out pretty quickly so people are hoping this one is good as well. People can talk shit about the Nu having a full psycoframe but the kit was undeniably one of the best MGs ever. I, for one, hope that the Sinanju Stein will incorporate some of the innovations that the Nu ver Ka has like the sturdy frame, the improved articulation for a Katoki kit and the immense level of detail.

Oh yes Bandai, take my money.

      Delete
    2. Nu Ver Ka doesn't have full psycho frame, only about 10 percent of the inner frame has psycho frame in it. I think the Unicorn and Banshee are the only suits that have full psycho frame.

I also like the Nu Ver Ka. It's a great build and a great kit

      Delete
  35. So

Stein comes up with bazooka...what makes the selling point of the sinanju OVA version then ???

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ill still get the ova ver. Still dont have a sinanju. I prefer the regular sinanju. I just feel more attached to suits i have more back ground with. And now he comes with bazookas!

      Delete
    2. @Anon 6:12 AM: The point of [MG] Sinanju OVA? Well, you're supposed to buy it and [MG] Sinanju Stein "Ver. Ka." so you'll have two bazooka to be equipped on Sinanju OVA ofc. :p
